Criminal Law

A tough attorney for tough cases. To see a list of past case highlights click here!

There are many types of crime that require a specialized knowledge of the law and the type of evidence presented. For example, in a sex crime case the attorney needs to know about the science of DNA testing as well the protocols used by police, investigators, child protection agencies and hospitals in processing the case. It is frequently the case that a defendant must prove his innocence, and a criminal attorney must know the police gather evidence to know how to counter that evidence.

Patrick W. Peters has handled just about every type of criminal case imaginable. This section is designed to give potential clients (and other attorneys) background and issues in particular types of cases. Check back for updates often!

You are again reminded that this is general information only. Always talk to an attorney about the particular needs of your case.
